Straw poll: in what form do audio slideshows work best?

As we’ve already discussed, the use of audio slideshows is limited at best, yet the scope they offer is vast. Take almost any set of photographs and marry them up with some carefully constructed dialogue and you have a feature that can be on any subject, of any length, and for any audience.

But how does the medium translate best? As a weekly news round up, as an arts feature, to highlight an humanitarian point of interest?

An event such as the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan lends itself perfectly to the power that an audio slideshow can afford. Emotionally laden images and moving narrative can evoke such strong emotions – I’m just waiting for the first one to hit the webosphere
